Chapter I — Introduction
Why I write
I have always been someone who writes.
Not for an audience, and not for applause — but because writing is how I think. A notebook has followed me through every version of my life: the student in Morocco, the young auditor, the consultant finding his footing in Paris.
Why document the journey, not just the destination
We are taught to present the finished version of ourselves. But nothing feels inevitable while you are living it. The interesting part is the middle: the doubt before the decision.
Welcome to the journey. The next chapter is still being written.
